Mumbles - Bass
Flavio de Oliveira - Drums

The Slack 5 were formed in early 2010 by singer and guitarist Stuart Powell, joined by Flavio de Oliveira on the drums and Stu's brother Chris Powell (aka Mumbles) on the bass.

They have worked hard on composing original material and have now a large variety of songs, from serious songs to downright debauchery, and they have started performing live in early 2011, having performed in Hampshire and also as far as Essex, in Southend-on-Sea.

Their debut album, Tomorrow's World, was released on the Spring of 2012, available on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and several other digital outlets!

The Slack 5

Royal Shades, are an indie rock five piece from Portsmouth UK. Fronted by lead vocalist Michael Chappell, and "reared" by BrightonLAD and drummer Joseph Khopkar. Bass is provided smoothly as it is lovingly by Jordan Baker, and guitarists Connor Christie and Anthony Jacques lay down the main solid sound of the music. Formed in the spring of 2012, Royal Shades started out as "We Are Islanders". Consisting of the same members, but not feeling entirely positive about the name after one show, the Lads came up with a new name, and brand new songs. Starting from scratch was a bold move, and indeed could have ended poorly, but the guys agree that it was the best move for the band. Instantly with the name change came the first official Royal Shades track : Margarine dream. This was followed quickly by Other Side, Tectonics, Off the Clock and many more. Soon, using "We Are Islanders" finest track; Take me Home, and the new material created, they boys soon had a fine setlist put together consisting mainly of originals and were ready for their first shows as Royal Shades. Instantly the Lads felt fantastic on stage, and began writing songs at a frenzied rate, in order to create an entirely original setlist to entertain crowds. This is the music that Royal Shades hope to show to the world, and for everyone to enjoy. From the feet tapping catchiness of thirty one, to the intensity of crunchy opener; tectonics, the guys are determined to entertain. Grizzly & the Grasshoppers

Grizzly & the Grasshoppers is an acoustic roots band. Genres of key significance are blues, funk and reggae. With just three members, the group produces a full and heartfelt sound. Both their recordings and live performances have an energy born out of their passion for music and free thinking in modern day ‘democracy’. A range of influences can be detected in their sound. However, artists who have really made their mark are- John Butler, Ray Charles, Delamitri, Clapton, SRV, Jon Cleary, The Neville Brothers and many more.

To introduce the musicians- Rhys Morgan is responsible for lead vocals, guitar and lap-slide guitar. Jamie Bowden plays keyboard, guitar and djembe. Peter Elton is on drums and percussion. Rhys’ powerful and gritty vocal combined with the harmony work of Jamie and Peter forms an important feature of the band. Voices range from soft and soulful to harsh and impacting. Vitally, lyrics are never lost in the mix and retain their true meaning.

Seventh Seeker started in early 2012 as a symphonic metal band heavily covering Nightwish material playing South rock and metal venues including The Talking Heads, Champions, Sound Circus and The Anvil (Bournemouth), Belushi's Below (Brighton) and Cellars and The Fat Fox (Portsmouth) as well as a slot at GuilFest 2012 on the Big Cheese Cave Stage.

We grinded to a halt when we lost our keyboard player who left without word shortly after our bassist also abruptly left.
SeventhSeeker were forced to cancel a range of upcoming shows, photography, videography and competitions including recording our first EP.

Considering whether to continue or not or just finally fed up of relying on just one particular sound from the band; we found a new direction in music, with new members that meant we all enjoyed performing with a stronger, more reliable aliance.

Set for the studio in March 2013 with new hard- hitting, cheesy goodness and a sense of overcoming the worst, you can find us back on stage at our EP launch in April or at our shows to be announced in the new year.
